There is so much I would do differently now that I am able to navigate these pages and buttons so much faster. First of all, I’d have taken my time with my first few ventures into Canva and spent more time playing about with it. I’d also have stuck with an existing template with fonts and colour palette to make my life easier, because with the world as my oyster, I went overboard right off the hop. After that, it was so difficult to pull back. I had in my mind that I’d be making my business website in the process of this course and that is no where near the case. This has been a FANTASTIC first run though and I enjoyed it once I started to pick up some skills. I really should have curbed or limited myself in the first place, I’d have been much better off. Finally, If I’d made those few changes to my brand board earlier in the course as suggested (LESSON LEARNED Teach!!) I’d have had much more concise branding.

Of course I’m focusing on this final assignment and not the entire course. My new LinkedIn profile is getting so much more attention and interest since that module and as an overall course, I believe it is vital for today’s commerce mediums. Back in the day, I learned how to edit audio on giant reel to reel analog tape but now it is digital and entirely different. This course was a fantastic first taste of new technology for someone who is starting out.
